Who is a Valuation Surveyor?
A Valuation Surveyor performs a range of support services to assist the Valuer with auditing, assessments, estimation and appraisals to determine the value of a business and/or asset.
What are the roles and responsibilities of a Valuation Surveyor?
The following are the roles and responsibilities of a Valuation Surveyor:
• Collect and confirm data, conduct discussions with the executives of stakeholders and perform additional research, if necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of valuation reports under the guidance of a Valuer, including entering data in the property database and taking pictures of the subject and comparable.
• Prepare documentation, complete analysis and research on appraisal assignments.
• Research market area, analyse current transactions and how they compare to the subject property.
What is Valuation?
Valuation is the process of determining the fair value of an asset, investment or organisation.
What is the duration of this course?
The duration of this course is 3 to 6 months, with an additional 6-months internship with a valuer or valuer entity
What is the mode of conduct of this course?
This course will be conducted in Hybrid mode, i.e. combining both online and in-person classes.
Do I need specific equipment to attend this course?
Yes, you require a laptop/tab/PC with a good internet connection and Zoom application in the system to attend the online classes.
What are the eligibility criteria for this course?
Any individual with 10+2/ITI/Diploma or above with minimum 18 years of age is eligible to enrol in this course
